The Negative Space by Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata

This beautiful animated short has been one of my favorites of all time for many years. I think aesthetically and storywise, it's closest to perfection I can only dream of achieving one day. What I love most of all, is the thoughtful transitions from one shot to another, just like the narration, it's poetry.
