This is the very first film Karla Castaneda directed and animated. The design aesthetic of the whole film works brilliantly with the storyline Castaneda is telling. Even starting out, you can see how focused she was with restricting the color palettes to reflect the mood of the story. I especially appreciate seeing how her character design has evolved throughout her career as an animator and how she has her unique voice.
