Goodbye Mister de Vries, 2014

This stop motion by Mascha Halberstad from Netherland is a sweet piece about an old man as he nears his end. The sequences Malberstad animated with tulle to create the blizzard had me watch this film in loop many times over. I find her storytelling, art direction and world building enchanting. She is also the creator of Fox and Mare series which I love.
